Only cats with up-to-date vaccinations for Feline Enteritis and Feline Calici virus (Cat Flu) and cats that have been treated for flea and worm parasites prior to their holiday with us can be accepted at KP Cattery. If a cat is suspected to have fleas or worms during their stay with us then KP Cattery will treat accordingly and there will be an additional charge of £35 for this service.
All cats will be examined on arrival and KP Cattery reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of illness pending advice from a Veterinary Surgeon.
We are happy to administer any regular oral medication to your cat(s) whilst they are staying with us at no additional charge providing they will allow us to do so.
Any cat suffering or suspected of suffering from any infectious illness or disease during their stay with us will be moved to our isolation facility for both the safety of them and our other guests and veterinary advice will be sought immediately.
In the unlikely event that your cat becomes unwell during their stay with us then we will take any steps necessary to ensure the best care for your cat. We would seek advice from your vets in the first instance as they will have the medical history of your cat, where this is not possible or in an emergency, we will contact our own vets who are Wicstun vets who are based in Pocklington. Treatment and care charges are the responsibility of you, the cat(s) owner.
What to bring with you:
All cats must be brought in a suitable cat carrier and you must bring your their vaccination card on the day of arrival and this will be kept at KP Cattery for the duration of their stay.
You are welcome to bring a bed, blanket, favourite toy and treats to make them feel at home here.
We ask that you remove their collar before they come on holiday for safety reasons.
